Visa Evidence charge doubles

The Visa Evidence Charge (VEC) has been increased over two-folds from 1 July, increasing it from $70 to $150.

VEC is the cost of having a visa label put into your passport. However, Visa Evidencing is generally not required these days, because Immigration can verify your status electronically.
