Students in Sydney are looking forward to ME Alliance Migration Seminar, scheduled for 11 June, 2015.
Of the few students ME Connect talked to, Nikki Thapa is one. Enrolled in a hospitality degree, she said, “Every time we have a question about our future in Australia, we have to pay $150-$200 to a Migration Agent. For students that is a lot of money. I am glad that ME Alliance deems us (international students) as important enough to have a seminar for. I am really looking forward to this seminar, so that I can get expert advice from professionals who are not just charging me for every second they spend with me.”
Olga Petra from Lithuania said, “I am so excited to know about this seminar, I wish more such seminars were conducted keeping in mind that students need frequent immigration advice. I am looking forward to the question-answer session the most, and I know my friends are as well.”
Jee Min from Korea said, “This seminar is a great idea and it will be a great place to meet a number of migration agents to be able to identify who I can relate to the most.”
The seminar aims at face-to-face interaction of Registered Migration Agents and students to develop the latter’s clearer understanding of their migration situation, and the steps they can take to achieve their desired migration outcomes. RMAs will benefit from the event by meeting prospective clients.
